Hello Scout and all! I can get a really great and smooth idle around 700 to 800 rpms but my vacuum needle rapidly moves between 15 and 20 leading me to believe I have worn valve guides... Here’s the thing, when I set the idle rpms higher, say 1000, my vacuum needle steadys out around 17? Does this make sense? Why would vacuum readings be better at higher rpms?
