Starts within two-three starter revolutions? Good idle RPM at about 700? Good steady vacuum reading between 17 & 21? Throttle response off idle?

Do you feel comfortable going into the carb to do some inspection and adjust the metering rod?

There's a video of it, after the video was done I ran some seafoam and carb cleaner thru it and let it set. I pulled the plug wire and trashed them and have new ones coming some can't start till Thursday.

Other than a bit of tappet noise, sounds smooth. When was the last time you adjusted the valves? And you are getting copper-core wires, correct?

update after playing with it for 2 hours trying different things I got it to idle, have to have choke almost closed, but let it run for 15 mins found a water leak no biggie fixed that, and looks like rear main may be leaking ....
time for a rebuild or new one......

Yeah. If you need choke to idle a warm motor then like as not the throttle has a vacuum leak. I imagine if the carb has been rebuilt in the last couple of years, bushings and a shaft are all it needs.
