I always forget what they look like when they come in. As far as the vent hole in the top of the horn, I have to keep researching that. If I don't find out for sure within the next month or so, I may post a reward for information leading to... My assumption is that it connects to the M-38 water-fording system somehow. Do not block it or the thing won't run worth a flip.

I was planning on cheating and using an old 3A crossover tube (which does not have a vent line fitting). I'll either have to find an actual M38 crossover tube or try and improvise some sort of protection for the carb vent. Leaving it open like that seems an invitation to allow dirt and debris to find their way inside.
