Drained and dry. Packed like gorillas are going to toss it around like a toy.

Rick My name is Larry Peterson. I live in East Tenn. (Erwin) I* have a 1952 M-38. I will be calling you shortly. I wanted to send some pictures prior to calling of my carburetor and fuel pump. I would like you to rebuild both of them for me. Larry

Larry, it was good talking with you today. I've got you covered on the carb, pump, and filter.

Can you call me 6052701732 when it’s convenient. I have a 1962 Jeep pickup with a hurricane six engine and try to find an original fuel pump. Also need a carb kit and distributor vacuum advance if possible. I have purchased a fuel filter from you in past but not good at using web site. Thanks

Hey Buddy, I noticed in your gasoline thread that you're recommending 89 or 91 octane no ethanol gas with a timing advance....do you not recommend 87 octane no alcohol? Dave

My recommendation is aimed at those Jeep owners who don't drive their Jeeps more often than once or twice a month. If you use yours as a daily driver or don't let it sit for more than ten days at a time and you can find 87 NON-Ethanol, use it. However, I still recommend advancing its timing to get a good clean full burn. Use a diagnostic vacuum/fuel pressure gauge and an analog Dwell/Tachometer.
