If i could offload some of our surplus here in Idaho then out of state interests would stop building those damned towers here and shipping the power to Californi^%@#&. Blue states just love wind power so long as the towers aren't in their own backyard. i'm not so dumb not to know our own pols are the ones selling off the state to line their own pockets.

Wyoming has an abundance of those wind mills, plus an experimental nuclear power plant. Ranch land can be taken by imitate domain for wind mills and transmission lines. The power companies don't want you to believe that wind generators kill birds. No birds killed is there story and they are sticking to it. With out federal money the things would not be built. I have "Friend's of Coal" stickers on my vehicles, don't ya know.

There’s places near here where you useta could look for miles in any direction and not see a road or fence or power line. You could imagine what it was like for the Injuns and the pioneers. Now all you see is wind turbines. 🤬😡💩

I did not know they can take land by eminent domain for wind generators. Wonder if solar farms can too.
My daughter works for a Wyoming refinery and I asked if the new administration will allow building coal fired generation plants again. She did not think so. The company that owns the Black Thunder mine is shipping coal to China. Coal is the cheapest power generating method and we won't use it. Duh. If you saw how much is there, it just seems a waste for us. Stupid greenies are OK with us buying foreign oil and shipping coal over seas, but no, we can't use it. The whole thing is a shaft to us.
