Holley 885FF from a 1950 Lincoln Staff Car. 337ci Flathead Ford V8. This thing weighs a ton! Another donation to my local Aviation Museum.

I recognized that one right off. I used to have a couple that were very similar if not the same. 1949-1951 Mercury. I still have a float that was specially modified to make the carb work in hard left turns. BW

Yeah. Same carb. I haven’t completely disassembled it yet. I need to be sure I can get all of the parts it needs. Particularly the throttle shaft. It has a wee bit of wobble. Being a two barrel with a split shaft that can pose a couple of issues I am not sure can be overcome.

I think Tim Taylor had one of those on a lawn mower that he modified. At least it looked like one of those.
