A crop sprayer. More efficient than an airplane but not nearly as much fun to watch. BW

I can forgive Muley. The UH-1 "Huey" is the most mentioned, discussed, photographed, filmed, etc. helicopter in history.

I always thought the "Huey" name, from "HU-1" it's original designation (or Huey, Dewey, and Louie cartoon fame) was a little gay, but affectionate, for a combat bird. I liked the American Indian Iroquois name better, but Huey stuck and the rest is history.....
(Given the woke crowd today, I'm surprised they aren't wailing to delete the Iroquois name anyway.)
Huey is still much better than the name for that French bird ----- the "Squirrel" LOL!

I can tell you this, when ag-cat fixed wing spray rigs complete a pass they pull up over the corrals and pastures into a sweeping turn setting up for the next pass. The mules hardly notice. The helo would pull up and make a pivot over the corral, mules were terrified and i was pissed. i would think an experienced aviator would consider that.

The helo pilot I watched never left the boundaries of the field. He sprayed it just like a wheeled sprayer would. BW
