Hi Ron,
If one were inclined to stay with the Carter YF series, what would you recommend for a warmed over F-134, newly rebuilt, mild Isky grind camshaft, .070 shaved between the block/head, .060 bore?
I am currently testing a Weber but very curious for purposes of staying somewhat period correct if there is another YF model that would account for the modest increase in need for additional CFM.
I will be welding in a bung to install my AutoMeter wideband to assist in testing, will consult with the performance exhaust shop to see what he recommends for exhaust size. I do have a Thornton turbo muffler to install.
All of these modifications are modest with modest expectations, just attempting to get the F head flowing the best it can for everyday use.

Even with these "mild" modifications, I would choose Weber. It has a broader latitude in jet choices for fine-tuning. However, do not get your hopes up for a significant improvement.
