Rick, I have a IGW distributor with the vacuum advance on it that was originally in my 12 volt M38. I replaced it with a 12 volt distributor from Kaiser Willy’s to get my jeep running after you rebuilt my WO carb. I want to use the IGW in my L134 engine for my 51 pickup. If I take the vacuum line off the distributor, will that affect timing in my WO carb? Is it possible to plug up the vacuum on both the car and distributor and run it like that?
Thanks in advance Jose Garcia

You can use the vacuum advance with the WO. That's what the threaded port in the throttle is for. Just keep in mind that when you tune up the motor, the vacuum advance must be disconnected and blocked. Plug the tube and the port. Reconnect after a tuneup.

Okay—I see I can’t use the distributor unless it has the vacuum. Thanks for the info.
