Hi All,
I recently had my CJ3A out west. I heard guys talking about, but never got a clear understanding of, what metering rod people were using that ran their Jeeps at higher altitudes. Is there a different metering rod for mountain driving?

I'm afraid not.

Okay, just curious. I had an issue with idling a day after I got there and did a carb swap (with the carb you just rebuilt) and ran fine for the rest of the week. We were up over 12K feet at times with no issues but I heard some discussion about altitude and wondered about it. Hey one other issue, I’ve seen the fuel filters you’ve used in the fuel line right at the carburetor, are those available for purchase?

I have one left in stock. I make my own fuel lines for them.
