I just rebuilt a WO with lot's of help from Rick's great videos and information.
I'm wondering if there is a specific procedure/settings for the carb at first start?
Is there a best way to prime it the first time?
How should the idle screw be set initially?
Thank you!
Steve

1. Points need to be correctly set to .020". 2. Clean spark plugs set to 030". 3. Timing set to at least 5º BTDC.You'll adjust it further, later. 4. Place carb on top of the Diffuser gasket and tighten the nuts to 30-35 lb-ft of torque. 5. Attach all linkage. 6. Adjust the Idle Mixture Screw to 1 1/2 to two full turns out from a light bottom. 7. The steel Idle Stop screw should be turned in about five to six complete turns 8. When ready, and if you do not have a pump with a primer lever, pour a tablespoonful of gas down the throat of the carb. 9. Close the choke. 10. FIRE ITUP! You will probably need to repeat steps six and seven a couple of times
