My jeep currently has 1/4" lines installed by the po. I'm going to switch it to 5/16" and try out this filter. It's available on Amazon but a little pricey at $33.00. I also won't be using the an fittings but the body disassembles and uses a replaceable bronze element.   |

Update: Filter received. The element is not bronze as I thought. It resembles a pleated paper element, however the pleats are a fine, metal, screen mesh. No paperwork or specs were provided. I looked the manufacturer up online because I was interested to know how fine of particles th filter would catch. Appears to be a UK company but I could find no info downloads on their site. Oh well, I'll just use it and go by faith.  |
