Public Service Announcement: Fuel Filters.

First off, for those who don’t know me. I try to keep my gas tank clean as possible, by draining at regular intervals and using reputable gas stations. But this made a believer out of me: 

First, I noticed this in the fuel pump:





Then upon disassembly of the carter ceramic unit:





All the debris had to have come from the last fill up.
