So, in working terms, I know it takes different tractors to pull different numbers of plows, already broke ground vs virgin sod, etc., the question is how many bottom plows can say two vs four horses pull? I was thinking that's allot of animal power in front of you with four horses.
Then you think about the 20 mule team borax wagons and holy cow that has to be a difficult task over say 4 horses. The way you harness all these different combinations is also a fascinating.
You once in a while run into old relics of wagon hitches and hubs that have allot of wear. Trying to imagine the time and miles it took to wear them out like that makes you think of the animal and human attachment to it all. The blacksmith technology and hitch design for different uses must have been a science too.
The blacksmith that could do it better, or come up with a new design, made his own fortune literally.
I media blasted many old things that were quite interesting over the years. Bronze sculptures, Bodrey Hammer, Lake City Arsenal presses, and a rare plow that was for cutting sod to build your sod house. Homestead early item.
This topic could cause the Knights to "drift"-----------LOL. Oilly
