HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! I wish you all a happy, safe, and prosperous 2020, and look forward to seeing and Jeeping with each and every one of you. We Have Miles to Jeep Before We Sleep! Until We Jeep Again, B-dubya
Went to the garage and looked at my jeep. Wished I was out climbing up something too steep. Came back in the house and started to pout. Hoping the Black Hills are stricken with drought.
It may be too early to have such a thought, But I need to decide if I must bring a cot. So much to do in so little time. A fellow like me can’t turn on a dime.
Here’s hoping this year is filled with much fun. So much Jeeping to do before we are done.
I think the "season" is getting to all of us. I too hope for a dryer summer. We will get what we get. If we have a BHR, you will have short notice, due to no clue about the weather or if the trails will re-open. I'm at a total loss. Oilly
Have some faith there Oilly. The tropical monsoons can't affect the BH forever. And hurricanes from Mexico don't happen every year. You'll get to dry out and folks will come join you for some Jeeping and some history and some fellowship. Think positive, and have a plan in hand for when things go your way.
The "plan" is already in place. We'll have to wait and see. Sadly, most just can't respond without advance notice. You have been very lucky at your location. All except the avalanches, landslides, and wiped out roads that is. Your FS is quite different in mind set too! I look forward to Jeeping as always------------somewhere new. Have Jeep kit, will travel.
Scoutpilot: I'm having problems with my eMail accounts. A couple of marketing bots have found a weak spot and I'm being bombarded with spam and junk. Contact me here if you need anything.

oilleaker1: Scout had the same. Google the name of the Bot and you can go in and delete it from your programs with the instructions.

wkwillys: I doing a full military resto on a 50 Willys M38; re-manufacturing the engine now. I'd like to have the carb freshly rebuilt by you if you do these. Carter YS, tag 637S G6, side draft with vent. Do you also rebuild fuel/vacuum pumps? Thanks. John

oilleaker1: WK, I've rebuilt two M38's and a M38A1. Scout is your carb guy for sure. They are difficult. (not a side draft carb) If you have a question, try me, I'll be glad to help, Oilly

wkwillys: Good morning Rick. I'm ready to send my Carter YS and my fuel/vacuum pump, but I can't seem to get my computer to show the Service Form so I can fill it out. What might I be doing wrong?
