OK_OK Soooo, I have been hiding in my Canuck corner watching the trailer builds as they progressed. And due to the way the rallies are going, I see why the mod's are needed. Like I said on Lee's thread, I got the covered wagon to haul the jeepster to shows in case of hail or rainstorms. It was not intended to be converted to a camper to start. But because of the recent problems with the rallies being in the wilderness, it has prompted trailer mod's!
Sooo-heres what has evolved!!
Like I said, when I got it, it had no doors. I had to make them!
This is from the rear doors, with the kitchen at the front. What I did, was buy all the appliances from a tent trailer. All of them run on propane and do not need 12 volts.
As you see, below the furnace and sticking out in the corner is a black water tank for the sink, and the porta-potty for those night visits!
The battery box goes beside the cabinet on the right to run the LED lights. And you can see the furnace and fridge with a storage area above the fridge, Also, below the furnace and on the left side is the Inverter in case we are able to hook up to power.
This one shows the roof vent above the kitchen area.
In this shot, you see the stove, sink and in the corner is a 10 gallon fresh water tank with storage above. The water is a counter level and has a hand pump.
Nicely done there Chuck! How much room do you have in there when the Jeepster is loaded? What's the length of the trailer box? That was a good idea to get all propane powered appliances. But where did you find the propane powered sink??
Since you have windows that open on both sides of the trailer, have you thought about opening them just a little bit to provide ventilation and see if that reduces your condensation? Have you considered lining the trailer with plywood to help deal with the condensation? Just a couple of thoughts from seeing the inside photos.
I think it's about 23' from the ball to the back. About 19' inside. With the jeepster in there, the bumper will probably be about 2.5 to 3' from the cabinet. We wont be camping in it when we haul the jeepster only when we take the "B" to a rally.
I do have the roof vent and both windows open a crack, and noticed there was no condensation in there yesterday when I took those pictures, as you can see.
If we go down for a rally, we will use a motel and café on the way. No room to sleep in trailer with jeep. There will probably be close to 4' between the "B" and the cabinet, but that's about it.
My jeepin buddy Bill has been after us to go exploring over in the Slocan valley, about 150 miles from here, but we didn't have any camping gear and Lynne said no more tenting about 50 years ago!!! We'll have to give it a test run next spring before we head out on a long adventure!

m38mike: A friend's father died, left her with a Kubota with a burned wire harness. She gave it to me to use if I would replace the burned wires. It's on my to-do list. Someday she'll want it back, but I've got it for the foreseeable future.
