Hi Scout How do you take pump arm off of pump to remove diaphragm?

There are two arms in there. Both held by the same pin. Once the top is separated from the bottom, carefully chuck the flange in a vise such that you can, using a punch and hammer, drive the pivot pin out completely. The actuator arm should just fall off then. To release the diaphragm lock arm itself, hold the bottom with the flange over the bench and squeeze the diaphragm in until the lock arm unhooks and falls out. Then pull the diaphragm out. The real fun comes at reassembly.

in most cases, it is a friction fit. Some kits will have pins that have an end that is peened over a washer. If no pin is included, reuse the old one. Just insert it with gentle taps of your brass hammer.
