Been road testing the Kubota Willys, removed two crap Deuce batteries and took it for a spin, bought a new toolbox for the up coming move, tested Tuffy for firewood season, and been trying to figure out how in heck to move all my stuff home and re-arrange my shop. I'm a hoarder.
Changed oil in my Kubota tractor, been painting the Scout engine, and now waiting for green paint window for the Scout.
Bugsey is up on the hoist for 1st gear diagnosis. Won't stay in gear. I'm afraid I have to pull the transfercase off to address the shift rail. I can slide it out of gear with one finger. Either the ball is in the end of the shift rail channel or the shift rail cutout is wrong on the brand new rail. Going to loosen the shift fork and pull the rail back first. It shifts all the way into gear, but won't stay going down a hill. I'm quite disgusted with that T84.
I'm bouncing back and forth between a bathroom shower remodel and cutting a bunch of dead wood out of the Willow trees on my property. You can see the trees I'm dealing with in this Willys picture. I'm beginning to realize I'm not a young man anymore.
